Jeanne D. Poulin, 87, of Lewiston, died on April 14, 2018 at the D’Youville Pavilion. She was born on March 7, 1931 in Saint-Odilon-de-Cranbourne, Canada. She was the daughter of Ernest and Cecile Lessard Drouin. Survivors include, two sons, Jean-Claud Poulin of, South Portland, Roger and his wife Susanne Poulin of, Auburn and three grandchildren.  

Funeral Notice 

POULIN, Jeanne, D., 87, of Lewiston, died on April 14, 2018 at the D’Youville Pavilion. No visitation. Service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018, 11 AM at Holy Cross Church. Donations may be made in her memory to your charity of choice.

Roger Gerard Belanger, 63, of Auburn, died on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice in Auburn, surrounded by loved ones. Roger was born in Lewiston on September 1, 1954, the son of Lucien and Constance Arnoldy Belanger. Educated in local schools, he was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of ’73, and attended a technical college afterwards for respiratory therapy. He worked at St. Mary’s as a respiratory therapist for several years, and then worked for Spillers in Lewiston, as a service technician, serving all over New England. …

Constance Roussin Spann, 1931 - 2018

Constance Roussin Spann, 87, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on March 5, 2018, in Charleston. Connie was born on January 16th, 1931 in Lewiston.  She grew up here until she left for college.  She attended and graduated for Regis College in Weston, MA, studying to be a teacher.  She taught for a few years until she became "Miss Connie" on the new TV show for children, "Romper Room" in Portland, ME.  

Connie then left Maine for Philadelphia and became one of the leading talk show hosts in the Philadelphia market.  She starred in "Target" one of the first late night talk shows, and did radio commercials for a number of nationwide companies.  …

Laurence Marie “Flo” Duperry, 1933 - 2018

Laurence Marie Duperry, known to all as “Flo,” 84, of Lewiston, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the d’Youville Pavilion, where she had been a resident for several years. Born in Lac Baker, NB, Canada, she was the daughter of Eloi and Leonie Nadeau Michaud. She worked on the family farm, after the farm she work at Hathaway shirt factory in Winslow, then worked for St. Mary’s Regional Center, until retirement. In her years she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, going to the beauty salon, flea markets, and the love of her cats. Survivors include a son Phillip “Tadd” Cormier and wife Corinna of Lewiston, a brother Fernand Michaud and wife Leonette of Winslow, and many nieces and nephews. …

Conrad J. LaCourse, 1936 - 2018

Conrad J. LaCourse, 82, of Lewiston, died at the d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston on March 29, 2018. Born in Lewiston on January 12, 1936, he was the son of Joseph and Rose Jutras LaCourse. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a hand sewer in the local shoe industry. Survivors include three sisters, Claire Delehanty, Janet Pessant, and Linda LaCourse, all of Lewiston, and several nieces and nephews.

LACOURSE, Conrad, 82, of Lewiston, died in Lewiston on March 29, 2018. Private graveside services will be held at a later date, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.

Patricia C. Bolduc, 1942 - 2018

Patricia C. Bolduc, 75, of Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Central Maine Medical Center. Born in Auburn on October 12, 1942, she was the daughter of Wallace and Doris Morin Letourneau. Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of ’59. On November 21, 1964, she married the love of her life, Paul J. Bolduc, and together they made their home in Lewiston. A dedicated wife and mother, she also worked for years as a “Lunch Lady” in the Lewiston Public School system, and also behind the deli counter at Hannaford’s in Lewiston.  …

Irving D. Isaacson, 1915 - 2018

Irving Isaacson, lawyer, soldier, entrepreneur, philanthropist and spy passed away, peacefully, at Hospice House in Auburn, Maine on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.  He was born, at home, in Auburn, on August 7, 1915, to Peter A. Isaacson and Dorothy Day Isaacson. He graduated from the brand new Lewiston High School in 1932, from Bates College, where he was a proud “townie,” in 1936 and Harvard Law School in 1939.

He practiced law briefly, from 1939 to 1940, but with war looming, he did the “romantic thing” and enlisted, as a private, in the National Guard before the US had a draft.  …

Joseph T. Murray, 1933 - 2018

Joseph T. Murray, 85, of Lewiston, died on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Lewiston on January 7, 1933, the son of John and Eva Lachance Murray. He received his GED while in the Navy. He married the love of his life, Frances M. Helms, on February 27, 1960. Frances passed away on November 3, 2012. Joseph proudly served in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer after 21 years. After his military service, he worked as a Toll Manager and Supervisor for the Maine Turnpike Authority. He was an avid baseball and football fan, especially the Red Sox and Patriots, and enjoyed gardening and working on projects in his wood shop. …

Norman L. Stone Jr., 1946 - 2018

Norman Lucien Stone, Jr. 71, passed away on Friday, March 23, at CMMC in Lewiston, Maine. He was the son of Renette Joncas and Norman Stone, Sr., born on Christmas Eve, 1946. He previously resided at Maison Marcotte, the residences at St. Mary's, for many years. He is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Lemieux of Lewiston and Elaine Gallagher of Hastings, NE. He was a loving uncle to nieces Renee Mack of KS and her son Kenneth, Sheaunna Faller of AZ and her son Eliis, and Nattah Shaffran of NE. He is also survived by his dear nephew Marcel Cloutier of Sabattus, and his beloved niece Mel Cloutier and her wife Lisa Ward of Lisbon Falls. …

Daniel P. Roy, 1956 - 2018

Daniel Paul Roy, 62, the second son born to Eugene R. Roy and Madeleine C. (Pare) Roy, died on March 21, surrounded by family and friends, at St. Mary's Hospital, following a valiant and determined battle with cancer.

Born on February 25, 1956, with three congenital heart defects, Dan faced many challenges brought on by  his condition. He fought and defied the odds throughout his lifetime and lived life to the fullest. He challenged himself to be as able-bodied and active as his 8 siblings and his friends were and sometimes even more so, defying and graciously accepting the consequences brought on by his determination. …
