Edward Michael Fahey Jr., 96, of Auburn, died February 9, 2018 in Falmouth, following a brief illness. Born in Lewiston on May 20, 1921, he was the son of Edward and Agnes Byrnes Fahey. He was a parishioner of the former St. Patricks Church of Lewiston, graduated from St. Patricks grammar school in 1934, Lewiston High School, Class of ’38, and after high school he attended Massachusetts Radio Institute in Boston. He entered the United States Army Air Force in 1942, serving four years, he was recalled to active duty in 1951, during the Korean war serving for one year and half. He was a member of the American Legion Post’s 26 and 153. Edward was employed by New England Telephone & Telegraph Co. for thirty six years. He is survived by serval nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Burns Fahey in 2003.

FAHEY, Edward Michael, Jr., 96, of Auburn passed away on February 9, 2018 at Falmouth by the Sea, after a brief illness. Graveside services will be held in the spring, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to a  charity of your choice.
