James P. Gervais, 65, was called home by his heavenly Father Monday, April 1, 2013, after a long illness. Formerly of Blake Street Towers, he passed at the Marshwood Nursing Home, where he had been a resident since December. Born in Lewiston on November 3, 1947, he was the son of Emery and Rita Ouellette Gervais. He was a kind and giving man who was always willing to listen and not judge. He is survived by his daughter, Allysyn Gervais, grandson Cayden Colburn, his mother and father, a sister, Linda Tanguay, niece Veronica Deschenes and her family, loving girlfriend Brandi Bean, ex-wife Sheila Gurney, his best friend Bob Cedre, and a special young woman and her two beautiful daughters who always had a special place in his heart. He was predeceased by his sister Carol and brother-in-law Tank. Special thanks to Brandi and Sheila for the excellent care they gave him, and also to the Marshwood Buchanan House Staff.
