Draper Obit Pic

Katharine M. “Kitty” Draper gained her wings and became an angel January 18, 2018 at Brentwood Rehab & Nursing Center Yarmouth, ME under the care of Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care.  Flying high and full throttle to her next adventure a dance with Elvis. Nannie left instructions to call social security and let them know she is an angel now, that call has been made spread your wings and rejoice with no pain and freedom to travel as you wish. She lived her full adult life in Greene, Maine brightening Rt. 202 with her beautiful gardens. Kitty was born March 11, 1927, in North Jay, ME to Amilcara & Mary (Franketti) Terenzoni.  She was young at heart, and never grew old.  A regular Auburn Mall walker, she walked laps around those years younger. She was always known as a vibrant, vivacious, beautiful women, and a fashion guru! Kitty was known for her beautiful gardens, and her other garden is the seeds of positivity, love and joy that she sown throughout her life.  Her biggest garden planted by far is that of her family, her first seedlings in life Judith (Davis) Bubier, Cynthia (Draper) Daniels, and “Sandy” Frank Draper Jr.  Her garden supplied her with multiple blooms through the years, grand children Lori Marschall, Darcey Bubier, Trena (Rick) MacKenzie, Stacy Daniels, “Bub” Richard Daniels. She gained beautiful great-grandchildren Nicholas (Jessica) Harrington, Ashlee (Wesley) Vandiver, Kelsea Marschall, Kailey & Kobe Bubier, Krista McGivaren, Ross MacKenzie. Then came the great-great grandchildren Tucker & Easton Harrington, Coleton, Preston & Emmitt Vandiver; Gunner McGivaren. Special friend Alan Prive who held her hand and heart whenever she needed him. And a very special man that she entrusted her son’s care, Scott Gregory. Her darling Tico who gave her hours of cuddles.  She is survived by brother “Teddy” Theodore Terenzoni and half siblings Lorraine (Hodgson), Anita (Davis) & Blaine Bradeen, many nieces and nephews.  Waiting for her arrival are siblings Paul, Harry & Joseph Terenzoni, and Carol Bradeen.

DRAPER, Katharine M., of Yarmouth, became an angel January 18, 2018, in Yarmouth, ME. Nannie’s last wish and she left it in writing is for no services, she doesn’t want you to look over her or knowing her age. Please take a moment today to remember and accept those near you for who they are. In lieu of flowers please donate to either of Kitty’s two things close to her heart, Special Olympics or animal shelter. Kitty held a special place in her heart for the Special Olympics, watching Sandy enjoy many events. She would be pleased to have Scott Gregory sponsored in the Ice Out Plunge for Special Olympics in her memory.  Send to: Special Olympics Maine, 125 John Roberts RD Ste. 5, S Portland, ME. Or the other delight of “Kitty” was her ever growing pack of Ferrell cats, she spent hours building shelters, feeding and caring for “her cats”.  She regularly made & donated pet blankets to the local animal shelter.  Because our pets give us unconditional love and enrich our lives, she would be honored to have donations made to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society
