Lucille R. Bolduc, 1923 - 2016

Lucille R. Bolduc, 92, formerly of 22 Green Street, Lewiston, and a two year resident of Montello Heights, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Clover Manor in Auburn, where she has lived for the past year. Born in Lewiston on October 11, 1923, she was the daughter of Adelphat and Hedwidge Gosselin Bolduc. Educated locally, she was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of ’40. After a couple of years working at the Bleachery and in local shoe shops, she went to work as a phone operator for New England Telephone, later AT&T, retiring after 43 years. A member of the Telephone Pioneers, she loved her job, and also enjoyed traveling to Canada to visit relatives. Lucille was a devout Catholic, and belonged to Ss. Peter & Paul Basilica, Prince of Peace Parish. Survivors include a sister, Antoinette and husband Robert Desjardins of Lewiston, a sister-in-law, Zita Bolduc of Lewiston, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Paul E. Bolduc.

BOLDUC, Lucille, 92, of Auburn, died in Auburn on April 5, 2016. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, 9 - 10:30 AM, followed by a service in the Upper Church of Ss. Peter & Paul Basilica at 11 AM. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Prince of Peace Parish, P.O. Box 1540, Lewiston, ME 04241-1540. Please put “Basilica” in the memo section of the check.
