An avid golfer, he was a longtime member of Fairlawn Country Club. Norm also loved to skate, and when he lived on Western Avenue he was instrumental in organizing and raising funds to install the boards around the old Sacred Heart skating rink. Survivors include his loving wife, Lina of Auburn; a son, Thomas of Milton Mills, NH; three daughters, Ann and husband Bruce Hobart of Mechanic Falls, Susan Newman of Bethesda, MD, and Mary and husband Paul Woodfin of Bar Harbor; six grandchildren, Jesse Hobart, April Jubett, Colby Hobart, Adam Woodfin, Paige Woodfin, and Ryland Newman; and five great-grandchildren, Maggie, Molly, Luke, and Lucy Hobart, and Jane Jubett.
