Norman H. Bolduc, 1928 - 2017

Norman H. Bolduc, 88, formerly of 15 South Lisbon Road, Lewiston, and a resident of Schooner Estates in Auburn for the past one and a half years, died Monday, January 23, 2017, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice in Auburn. Born in Fairfield on December 2, 1928, he was the son of John C. and Marie Louise Gagnon Bolduc. As a young man, he developed a love of the Maine woods while working alongside his father cutting lumber. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War, and then returned to Maine and for many years worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator, and was a proud member of I.U.O.E. Local 4. On October 8, 1955, he married the love of his life, the former Yvette I. Cloutier. Mrs. Bolduc passed away on April 24, 2008. A member of Holy Cross Church, Prince of Peace Parish, he also belonged to the Knights of Columbus, and was a founder and treasurer of South Lewiston Baseball. Whether working or camping, he never lost his love of the woods. Survivors include three sons, Claude and wife Deborah of Bowdoin, Gaetan and wife Patricia of Greene, and Patrick and wife Tara of Lisbon Falls, two daughters, Claudette St. Pierre and husband Marcel of Auburn, and Lisa Osgood and her fiancé David Greenleaf of Lewiston, a sister, Armande Poulin of Lewiston, ten grandchildren; Nicole Drown, Amy St. Pierre, Jamie Bolduc, Heather Bolduc, Allison Osgood, Garrett Bolduc, Samantha Bolduc, Nathan Osgood, Cole Bolduc and extended family Lauren Laplante. Five great grandchildren which he adored. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jessica St. Pierre. They family wishes to extend a special thanks to Schooner Estates and Androscoggin Hospice program. 

Funeral Notice

BOLDUC, Norman, 88, of Auburn and formerly of Lewiston, died in Auburn on Monday, January 23, 2017. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, from 9 AM to 11 AM, followed by a Liturgy of the Word Service at 11 AM. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, 55 Strawberry Avenue, Lewiston, ME 04240.
