Pearl M. Coyne, 1917 - 2016

Pearl M. Coyne, 99, of 276 Gamage Avenue, Auburn, died Thursday, September 22, 2016, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice Services. Born in Auburn on January 2, 1917, she was the daughter of Frank and Albina Normandeau Coyne. She was educated in Auburn schools, and was a graduate of Edward Little High School, Class of ’35. After graduation, Pearl went to work as a salesperson at the B. Peck Department Store for several years, and then worked in the offices of Shapiro Brothers in Auburn for seventeen years. She then worked in the Lunch Program of the Auburn School Department for seven years before retiring. Always very creative and artistic, she was an avid painter and was a longtime member of L A Arts. Survivors include a brother, Thomas of Pipe Creek, TX, many nieces and nephews throughout the country, and many great-nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, James, Eugene, and William.

COYNE, Pearl, 99, of Auburn, died in Auburn on September 22, 2016. Graveside services will be held Saturday, 9 AM, Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Donations may be made in Pearl’s memory to the charity of your choice.
