Ronald A. Doustou, 63, of South Paris, died on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Market Square Health Care Center. Born in Lewiston on August 27, 1954, he was the son of Lewis and Georgette Nadeau Doustou. Educated locally, he graduated from Lewiston High School, Class of ’72. He spent many years working at Bath Iron Works as a pipe fitter. He loved listening to music, playing guitar, and singing. An avid follower of all New England teams to include Patriots, Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox, he rarely missed a televised game and was very knowledgeable in regards to sports. Ron also enjoyed playing golf, softball, and shooting billiards in his younger years. Most of all, he was loved by many and known for his quick-witted sense of humor. Survivors include; a daughter, Kelly Doustou of Lewiston, two brothers, Richard and wife Diane of Lewiston, and Robert of Poland, a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Doustou of Winslow, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father. 


Funeral Notice

DOUSTOU, Ronald, 63, of South Paris, died in South Paris on March 18, 2018. Services will be held Saturday, 12 Noon, in the mausoleum of St. Peter’s Cemetery. No visitation. Donations may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes AssociationPO Box 10310 Portland, ME 04104,  or the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005 Boston, MA 02241-7005.
